| How do I become a guest on
Oprah?
As you know becoming a guest on The Oprah
Winfrey Show is pretty hard. However, I found out about a book that
gives you advice on how to get a seat right next to Oprah. I can just
recommend this book to you. It's fantastic as it gives you precise
information and strategies how to get on Oprah's show.
|
| How can I get tickets for
the show?
Okay, it won't be easy, I can tell you that
already, but there is got to be an audience and why shouldn't you be the
lucky ones who sit in first line?
I found this information about getting ticket
on Oprah's official homepage:
| If
you plan to be in the Chicago area and would like to join our
studio audience, call:
312-591-9222
Monday
through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. CT.
Reservations
can be made generally only one month in advance. Topic information
is not released until the day of the show; reservations are made
based on date only. Please be aware that shows may cancel on
occasion. If that should occur, we will do our best to reschedule
you for another show as soon as possible.
If the reservation line is busy, keep trying. (A little tip: There's
usually a lull in calls between 1:30 and 3 p.m. CT. The worst time
to call: right after the show when everybody thinks of it!)
Here
are the rules:
 |
You
must make a reservation by phone and talk to an audience
reservationist in order to attend a show. |
|
We
accommodate groups of no more than four people in total. Be prepared
to give the names of the people who will be attending the show with
you. |
 |
Reservations
can be made generally only one month in advance. |
 |
You
must be at least 18 years old to attend the show; you will be asked to
present valid photo ID at the door. |
|
We
do allow persons 16 and 17 years old to attend the show but only if
accompanied by a parent. They must also bring their birth certificate
and a photo ID in order to be admitted. No one under the age of 16 can
attend the show. |
|
Dates
and times of the shows may vary, and are subject to change at any
time. If you have reservations, you will be notified as soon as
possible of these changes. |
|
You
may attend a show no more than once every six weeks.

already? Very interesting...click

|
| How can I contact
Oprah?
Okay, if you have a cool story to tell, if you
know a fantastic book to read, if you've just written your own movie
script or if you just want to tell Oprah how she changed your life...
you have several possibilities to get in contact with her:
First:...write her a letter... |
|
Harpo Productions
P. O. Box 909715
Chicago, IL 60607
or
Oprah Winfrey Show
Harpo Studios
1058 W. Washington St.
Chicago, IL

|
Second:...send
Oprah an e-mail...
Alright...here you just go to Oprah's official website "www.oprah.com" where you'll find an e-mail section on the left
side of your monitor...click there and you'll have several choices
whether you want to write Oprah's staff an e-mail, her magazine people
or you can choose that just Oprah alone will read your message.

Comment
by Moni:
I cannot really assure you that
your e-mail will be read or answered. My personal experience is
that one can write several messages with interesting subjects
(O-Magazine subcription, copyrights of various things...) but
nobody ever responded. Maybe it's just me or maybe getting
thousands of e-mails per week is too much for Oprah's staff...so
try it, maybe you're the lucky one that receives an answer! |
|
| Are you
Oprah?
No, my dear friends and Oprah fans, I am not
Oprah Winfrey. I'm telling you this because I have received many e-mails
in the past from people who thought I was Oprah. This is no big deal...but
if you want to find out more about me, Moni the host of the website, go
here and take a look at some pictures
of me, if you want to invite me for a cup of coffee some time, write me an
e-mail... monikaherold@hotmail.com
That would be very nice. By the way, my
birthday is Feb. 9th...so if anyone of you feels like you gotta send me
a nice birthday present, feel free to do so! (I love chocolate...) |
